From the New York State Thruway (I-87), take Exit 19 for Kingston, then follow signs for Route 209 South and the Rondout Waterfront. There is street parking in the area, as well as nearby public lots within walking distance of the park.

train

The nearest train station is across the river - Rhinecliff (Amtrak). From the station, T.R. Gallo Park is about a 15-minute drive. Here is a list of local taxi services. We recommend you book your taxi or Uber/Lyft in advance as they’re not very reliable in this area or plan to carpool with other people.  

bus

Trailways bus goes from Port Authority directly to Kingston and takes about 2 hours. From the Kingston bus terminal, you can take the local Blue line from Wall St/N Front down to the W Strand/Broadway station.
